Biography

The biography section includes a proprietary tool called the Biography Starter. This tool prompts the family through a series of questions to develop a wonderful Biography of their loved one. After the initial Biography is created, it can be edited prior to publication. Feel like free-form writing or copy and paste from another document? It’s supports that too! There is space for 100,000 characters and spell check is included.

Obituary

The Obituary section provides for 100,000 characters – enough to handle even the lengthiest Obituary. The site provides for cut and paste placement. Spell check is included.

Images

The site provides for up to 50 photographs of the loved one, family members and other images the family may want to include in the online memorial.  Just swipe through the images on your Smartphone or click through the images in a browser. It’s that easy!

Images of the Memorial Site

The site provides for up to 20 photographs of memorial site including the monument, area around the monument and the cemetery overall. Great for sharing with family members who can’t travel to the grave site.

Unique Features
of the Images Sections

Unique features to the Images sections include the ability to upload one image at a time or in a batch. Included are two upload routines that allow for simple file selection or a file browser within the interface. Also included is proprietary browser driven software that prompts a user through the scanning process when a scanner is connected to the host computer. Uploading images can be as simple or as powerful as the user needs.

Guest Book

Our Guest Book can hold up to 5,000 messages. The Administrator has complete control over Guest Book messages. All messages must be approved before they show publically on the site. Plus, want to delete a message for some reason or edit it? It’s easy in our control panel.

Bookmarks

Does the Family have a YouTubeTM video? How about a newspaper story on the deceased or a FacebookTM page? In the special links section the administrator of the Online Memorial can add bookmark links to other sites, pages and documents on the web with a title. All of this is available to be viewed and enjoyed from a computer browser. We’re currently working to add the links page to the Smartphone site.

Burial Location Information

Document as much or as little about the deceased’s final resting place. Our site can display the location (including address), date and cemetery specific data.

Sharing

Want to share the online memorial with others? Our site uses industry standard sharing routines. Send a link in an e-mail from a Smartphone, post a link to your FacebookTM or Twitter TM account or a number of other social media sites.

Keepsakes

The ability to order a My Life Story Book. The book is a custom printed book that includes a biography, treasured photos and significant historical events. This book is a soft cover, full color, award winning design!
